If you live in South Caldwell, more ambulance coverage is on the way. The Canyon County Ambulance District bought more than an acre of city-owned land near Ustick Park, and officials announced Friday that Station 55 will go there.
The district says the station will increase the number of ambulances serving Caldwell. Planners hope it also lowers demand for ambulances based in Nampa or Middleton.
