- ➤ Idaho Power filed its annual Power Cost Adjustment with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission to request a decrease in electric rates, meaning a typical resident using 950 kilowatt-hours per month will see an 8.26% drop in cost or about $9.97 if approved. - ➤ The Bureau of Land Management began prescribed burns in southwest Idaho on April 15 to lower wildfire risk and reduce hazardous fuel buildup; each burn is expected to last three to five days and include sites like Antelope Ridge (81 acres) and Rock Creek (1,058 acres). IdahoNews
