Albertsons revealed plans to build a new 60,000 sqft store (its third in Caldwell) at the corner of Karcher Road and Lake Avenue, expected to open in fall 2027 and create over 200 local jobs.
🏛️ Government
The Idaho Transportation Department announced nighttime work will shift traffic around the SH-16/SH-44 intersection starting Thursday, Aug.
13, with crews working from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and reducing the speed limit; similar work at the SH-44 and Moyle Avenue intersection is planned for Aug. 20.
Eastbound I-84 will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday, Aug.
13 for concrete work between exits (38) and (42); traffic will detour via Franklin Road.
