The Canyon County Fair in Caldwell will run from July 24 to 27 — drawing visitors with a fun run, carnival rides, games and other attractions.
The event will also host concerts featuring Ian Munsick, Craig Morgan — Jo Dee Messina, and wristbands cost $45 at the gate or $35 online while concert tickets cost $40.
On July 17 at 3 p.m., Caldwell Police responded to a crash in an active construction zone near Canyon Small Animal Hospital when 39-year-old Edelmira Santizo Roblero ignored flaggers and hit the hospital’s north wall, breaking AC units, a power meter and an electrical supply box (with Idaho Power stating that a buried power line must be replaced) while she was cited for reckless driving and not having a license.

The Sawtooth Sockeyes, a local collegiate summer baseball team, finished Monday’s game 23—2 and are now in a final homestand running today through Sunday.
They have a 35—7 record and will play the Treasure Valley Tribe today at 6:30 p.m., the Boise Bluebirds on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., and the San Francisco Seals from Thursday to Sunday before heading to the Utah Marshalls World Series in Salt Lake City.
