Caldwell Police investigated animal abuse after a report on July 15 showed several malnourished pets confined in poor conditions at a Dearborn home—officers seized six dogs, three cats, and two gerbils, and found deceased animals while the West Valley Humane Society took the animals into care as the investigation continues.
The Idaho Transportation Department and Canyon County Motor Vehicle office are teaming up to add Real ID services—also known as the Star Card—to make getting an ID easier.
The ITD will provide on-site DMV help for driver's licenses while the county office adds these services like the program used in Ada County.
