Lifeguards at Caldwell Memorial Pool rescued two children on Friday at 3:28 p.m.—they performed CPR and managed the scene before police and paramedics arrived.
The city commended their quick actions and the pool will remain closed tomorrow to allow staff time to recover.
Women in Treasure Valley are finding strength and community as they join a growing roller derby scene where beginners learn to skate and build confidence.
The local team will launch a new skater program in August — participants can borrow gear to start learning the sport.
