Today, the College of Western Idaho and the Snake River Stampede partnered for the third annual Youth Rodeo 101 where over 100 Boys and Girls Club kids received their PRCA back numbers, took a group photo and toured the livestock area (experiencing events like bareback riding and bull riding) before continuing in the youth rodeo arena.
The Caldwell Fire Department responded to a fallen tree branch hitting a home at 10:12 a.m. on Wednesday— the branch also brought down a power line that affected a parked vehicle and the residence, and paramedics transported one person to the hospital before Idaho Power secured the scene.
Jacob Lees from Caldwell thrilled the crowd with an eight-second bareback ride during Patriot Night at the 110th Snake River Stampede on Thursday at the Ford Idaho Center + his ride brought excitement to local fans.
The Stampede will continue with Western Heritage night on Friday and Saturday shows featuring a matinee at noon and a championship round at 7:30 p.m. + the schedule remains unchanged.
