Dozens of homes in Caldwell, Nampa, and Twin Falls experienced temporary blackouts today — crews are working to restore power by 9:30 p.m. The cause of the outages remains unknown.

Boise Police urged drivers to be careful during the '100 Deadliest Days' between Memorial Day and Labor Day, with three fatal crashes recorded in Ada and Canyon Counties during early June—one on June 7 in Caldwell.

They also increased traffic stops by 9.5% in May compared to last year to help reduce accidents.
