- ➤ Northwest Nazarene University faculty mourned Serena Bennett, a 25-year-old Wildlife Biology graduate who died on May 18 during a dive trip in Ecuador. The community—aware of her passion for wildlife and teaching—stands in support of her family and peers during this difficult time. IdahoNews
- ➤ Cael Manning, a 10th grader at Caldwell High, has been selected from nearly 3,000 applicants for the NASA-funded STEM Enhancement in Earth Science summer internship at UT Austin’s Center for Space Research. He will begin remote work soon and join peers in Austin on July 6 to work on hands-on research using data from Earth-observing satellites + take science courses. IdahoNews
