Here's your local news at a glance for Wednesday, the 21st of May.
Good morning, Caldwell.
Idaho entered spring with high snowpack but the heat melted much of it quickly so that not all water reached the reservoirs—experts say the remaining water will be enough to last through summer and that next winter must bring ample moisture to sustain water supplies for local farmers, ranchers, fishers and boaters.
New Idaho DMV laws go into effect July 1 and change ways to prove identity, license plate rules & how emergency contact info is gathered.
The changes let drivers use unexpired U.S. passports in place of birth certificates, limit automated plate readers to law enforcement use, and introduce new license plate options with varying fees.
