- ➤ Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among men in the U.S. and, as of 2022, Idaho had an incidence rate of 110.6 per 100,000; doctors say men should begin annual screening at age 50 until 70 to catch the slow-growing disease before symptoms appear — early detection helps guide treatment options.
