Mayor Jarom Wagoner defended himself and four council members against a recall petition by Jim Hollis, saying claims about police support and fee mistakes were false.
He noted that an investigation by Idaho State Police (which found no illegal activity) and his efforts to reach out to Hollis (who refused to meet) show that decisions on new development serve Caldwell's best interests.
