- ➤ Canyon County Paramedics announced they will be on the May ballot with a temporary two-year levy override proposal — aimed at addressing growing emergency service needs — that seeks to generate $7,900,000 annually to expand staffing and upgrade ambulance services. The measure, scheduled for May 20, is estimated to cost taxpayers about $18.62 per $100,000 of taxable value. IdahoNews
