ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Idaho State Police is working on a crash on eastbound I-84 near Karcher Road that is blocking the left two lanes on both eastbound and westbound—drivers should expect delays. IdahoNews
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Caldwell Police Chief Rex Ingram was cleared of criminal charges for misusing public funds after an outside prosecutor found that he did not break the law or that evidence was insufficient—city officials said his spending was approved through a multi-level process. This decision follows an investigation that began with an anonymous tip and later was reopened over a donation discrepancy. IdahoNews
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today, the House and Senate passed the child welfare budget with votes of 28—7 and 55—15 to increase foster care families and lower congregate care costs; the bill now goes to the governor’s desk for approval. IdahoNews
