FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers in Boise will open eight new clinics across southern Idaho over the next decade — the company is seeking franchisees who are passionate about health, and owner Ryan Littleford said he believes their proven model will help new owners succeed and make a difference in their communities.
Governor Brad Little signed House Bill 304 on Wednesday at 10 a.m.—a law that gives $100 million in property tax relief by reducing taxes by $50 million and funding public schools for bonds and levies—and the new measure builds on more than $4.6 billion in past tax relief since he took office.
The City of Caldwell announced that its new pool facility has made major progress as the mechanical building is finished and systems are now working—plastering will start mid-April while the deep end is updated with a slide, diving blocks and an AquaZip’n water zip line.
The bathhouse is nearly done and job postings for lifeguards, swim instructors and shift managers will be available soon as the pool plans to open early summer by Memorial Weekend.
Governor Brad Little signed HB134 that makes insurance companies pay for enhanced breast cancer screening for high-risk women—nearly all lawmakers approved the bill—and it is expected to help catch cancer early and lower treatment costs.
