GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Drivers using SH-55 in Caldwell must plan for an overnight closure on March 26 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for irrigation line installation and highway widening to four lanes (expected to improve safety as work continues through 2028). IdahoNews
- ➤ Lawmakers rejected a bill that would have tracked rat infestations (from Eagle to Boise), leaving homeowners without state help this year. The proposal may be revived in the future as local concerns continue. IdahoNews
