Caldwell Police said a train car lost its wheels on Friday, March 14th—blocking Main and 4th Street downtown and stalling traffic for several hours.

Idaho Power has submitted a rate adjustment request to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission — aiming to lower rates by 5.28% for residential customers.

If approved, a typical residential customer using 950 kilowatt-hours per month will pay about $6.36 less each month starting June 1 — final rates will be set when the Power Cost Adjustment is filed on April 15.
