ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Idaho Power has submitted a rate adjustment request to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission — aiming to lower rates by 5.28% for residential customers. If approved, a typical residential customer using 950 kilowatt-hours per month will pay about $6.36 less each month starting June 1 — final rates will be set when the Power Cost Adjustment is filed on April 15. - ➤ Governor Brad Little signed House Bill 231 on March 15th, 2025, which raises the grocery tax credit to $155 a year for Idaho families — House and Senate leaders say this change will help families cope with rising food prices while the state works to balance its budget. IdahoNews
