About this event

Cranksgiving Boise, the popular annual Thanksgiving-themed bicycle scavenger hunt, returns for an 11th year to challenge riders and collect food items for St. Vincent de Paul. Teams of costumed riders follow a manifest, riding around town answering trivia questions and performing silly tasks, while gathering all the food items necessary to fill Thanksgiving food boxes. The boxes go to St. Vincent de Paul for distribution to families in need throughout the Treasure Valley. Cranksgiving is staged by the Lost River Cycling Club, and sponsored by Ketlinski Law.

Cranksgiving will start and end at a new location this year – Idaho River Sport, 601 N Whitewater Park Blvd, Boise. Packet pick-up is at 10:00 a.m. with the event starting promptly at 11:00 a.m. After the teams complete their manifests, they will return to Idaho River Sports for a fun after-party with food trucks, live entertainment, and of course beer, provided by Clairvoyant Brewing!

Team registration is $10, which helps cover the costs of putting on the event. Registration is open at https://www.bikereg.com/cranksgiving-boise-2026.

Tee shirts are also on sale at the registration website for $20.
