Idaho Veterans Parade

About this event

The Idaho Veterans Day Parade Committee: Inc. is a non-profit organization incorporated by the State of Idaho, for the purpose of organizing and conducting a Veterans Day Parade. Since the committee is in the Boise area, it conducts this parade in Boise; however, it invites participants from throughout Idaho. The committee is a “grassroots” organization. All committee members are volunteers and they do not receive compensation or remuneration in any form. The committee is not an extension of the city government of Boise, Idaho, the State of Idaho, Ada County, or any other governmental or commercial enterprise; however, to conduct the parade the committee must apply to the Boise City Special Events Committee for a special events license. The application process must be accomplished every year.
