Visiting Artist and Scholar: Tatiana Mesa Pajan

About this event

Join Visiting Artist and Scholar Tatiana Mesa Pajan for her lecture titled "The Writing of The Glimpse".

The Writing of the Glimpse is an artist book and research-based project that documents fleeting, everyday human gestures, such as kissing, waiting, sleeping, or sitting in silence, through creative writing, performance, and image-making. The work approaches these actions as universal materials, cataloged and reactivated through poetic documentation rather than spectacle. Using traditional printmaking methods, including intaglio, letterpress, photogravure, and risograph, the project will culminate in a limited-edition artist book accompanied by a collaborative appendix featuring contributions from writers and artists across multiple languages. An additional ecological iteration will exist as ephemeral chlorophyll prints installed temporarily in forest environments.
